Look At What The Cat Dragged In...

EmilyMedvec Santa Fe Real Estate

Are you curious about what on earth “The Cat Dragged In” to Santa Fe, NM?You can find out by going to one of Santa Fe’s hottest ReSale stores – “Look At What The Cat Dragged In” run by theSanta Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society. This store is becoming one of Santa Fe’s hottest resale destinations to both donate and shop and network by “shopping” for animal care. Imagine shopping to help save animals and discovering many real treasures at the same time. I can’t begin to tell you about all of my finds. However, one of my favorite discoveries was a Kodak circa 1935 Six-16 Folding Camera! Given that Kodak is not bankrupt and Instagram just sold of $1,000,000.000 (1Bn) - it is clear photography has changed in my lifetime. And most likely my vintage camera has some new value!

Next time you get the urge to shop and stimulate Santa Fe’s local economy, set your GPS system to2570 Camino Entrada, on Santa Fe’s Southside, between Kohl’s and the Outback Restaurant and start shopping for good cause for a change. The store is open from 10 AM to 6 PM on Tuesday thru Saturday. You can find gently used housewares, art, books, furniture, clothes, jewelry and so much more interesting and unique Santa Fe stuff. By the way, the odds are what you find will be affordable. The store is HUGE and the cause is great! If you want to donate items, start by calling them at 505-474-6300 for details.

Shopping at “Look At What The Cat Dragged In” is also a great place to network with other Santa Fe pet owners and certainly a place to volunteer and perhaps discover you want to adopt a pet!  If you love animals and Santa Fe and want to make a difference this is the place to begin. By the way, expect anything you bring home to get a many serious long good sniffs if you have pets at home!
